After losing to Las Palmas last week, Atlético Madrid bounced back with a great 3-0 win over Rayo Vallecano in La Liga. Sorloth, Gallagher and Alvarez scored for Los Colchoneros.
Also in football news, Leicester captain Jamie Vardy will leave the club at the end of the year after 13 seasons. He intends to continue his playing career. Vardy has scored 143 goals with Leicester in the Premier League.
And in tennis, Carlos Alcaraz has withdrawn from the Madrid Open because of injury but is hopeful of being fit for his French Open title defence.
